Brooklyn hurried and checked the battlements, assuming (correctly) that was where Broadway had planned to propose to Angela. There were bullet holes in the walls, rubble and shattered glass was everywhere, and the table was ruined and turned over. He saw the moo moo. It was wet and stained from the food, but there was no blood on it.
