Dr. Sato: "Oh, the gargoyles will cooperate. I'm more worried about what we'll do if none of them turn out to be a suitable donor."
Dr. Sato hesitated about whether or not to mention the clones. In the castle, there were security measures protecting the gargoyles in case any staff members betrayed them. But if the staff members learned about the gargoyles in the Labyrinth... there was nothing they could do.

Actually it's from the doctor's perspectives:
A large, muscled gargoyle appeared in the doorway to the infirmary. As well as a blue dog like gargoyle beast half the size of a horse, attracted by their scent no doubt. This frightened the staff a little, but Bronx relaxed somewhat when he sniffed Dr. Sato. Then he moved away from the staff towards Goliath and Broadway.

Goliath was carrying the patient Mr. Xanatos told them about. While Goliath did not seem nearly as vicious as his TV image, the doctors could not help but step back a little, feeling intimidated by his size. Not having actually met a gargoyle, let alone treat one, made them a bit nervous.

Goliath hesitated, suspicious of the unfamiliar faces (not the least because Xanatos invited them). Then he saw Dr. Sato pushing through the group of doctors. Not only had Dr. Sato treated him well before, but he had a good relationship with Elisa. There was an auburn haired woman with Dr. Sato.

As Goliath placed the grunting Broadway on the bed, the worried Angela was ignoring her own injury and grasping Broadways hand with tears in her eyes

Elisa arrived soon afterward, taking Angela to the room next to the ICU to help her wash and change. While Angela filled Elisa in, Bronx turned his attention to the remaining staff members and growled at the nurse, causing Brooklyn to rush to his side. The nurse shot him a nasty look. Apart from being unnerved, Brooklyn realized he was covered in blood.
