Broadway hesitated. He didn't like being separated from Angela, but he agreed. She was right. Broadway started to move away in the opposite direction. One of the Quarrymen was heading in the direction Angela had gone. He followed him instead.

Broadway roared to distract him from Angela. Angela saw this, slightly annoyed with him (more out of fear for his safety than anything else).
Author's note: Remember, I want Broadway to get shot in this chapter. Otherwise, I can't bring in my OCs Dr. Grey and Dr. Greene to treat him.

and shot at Broadway but missed. The gunshot forced Angela to come out of her hiding place to protect Broadway.
