This is the plot summary for my story Trapped.
A near fatal attack has Goliath obsessing with revenge, and Brooklyn and Elisa may need to rely on Xanatos for help... if they can only trust him as an ally. By the way, this ignores The Goliath Chronicles. It takes place after Rock Of Ages and Hudson and Lex are still in Britain.

Since in the comics it's not specified when Xanatos returns to Manhattan, I took an educated guess that he returned to New York about a couple of days after Rock Of Ages.
So it takes place in mid November. About two weeks after Bash and Goliath would be completely healed by this time.
Brooklyn is also still not over Angela and to make things worse for him, Broadway asks Angela to be his mate.
In the first Chapter, Castaway sets up a trap to drive all the gargoyles out of the castle and lure them to an isolated location but he was not expecting there to be only two gargoyles: Broadway and Angela and he doesn't know that Hudson and Lex are overseas. Goliath had taken Brooklyn out on patrol earlier, along with Bronx, to examine their options and Broadway had asked for an evening alone with Angela. So Goliath is unaware of what is going on at the castle until he returns home in Chapter 2. There are also some OC's: Dr. Sarah Grey, Dr. Mike Greene, Brutus and Luke (old Gen U Tech employees from when Xanatos was an enemy to the clan, so they're used to thinking of the gargoyles as enemies) as well as a nurse.

Well until Greg Weisman does decided to make a comic that does specify everything in the world of 'Gargoyles', all we fans can do is guess
I just Hope things eventually turn out ok in the end for the Gargoyles!

I should actually start with how the story opens to build up to the particular scenes I want to change. The story opens with Owen leading MacBeth up to where the gargoyles sleep to wait for Goliath to wake up. MacBeth looks ahead at the horizon and the sun sets. The gargoyles burst forth. Goliath is surprised to see MacBeth.

Now when MacBeth thanks Goliath for loaning his charges to him, MacBeth thinks the Stone has been returned to Edinburgh. He doesn't know that Xanatos switched it with a fake during the bomb scare.

MacBeth wishes to make a fresh start, though Goliath doesn't say it out loud, so he goes straight to asking," Are Hudson and Lexington safe?"
MacBeth answers," I sent them to stay with the London Clan."
At this point, Elisa appears at the top of the stairs. This next part brings the gargoyles and Elisa into a debate on whether Xanatos can be trusted.
Elisa says," We need to talk. All of us."
Goliath brings her down to the battlements.
"Xanatos is back."
