Here's a fic that introduces my Villain OC Vulpes, and how she joined My Favorite Villains in 'Gargoyles', The PACK

WARNING: This fic is quite dark, but Im trying to keep it at the same rating as the "Gargoyles" comics, so any dark parts are going to be toned down!

INTRODUCTION:



"My name was Viola Elps. I'm not much for talking about pasts, but I'll let you in on the main part of mine. I used to be a Roller Derby Champ, determined to win, whatever it took, even if it meant physically damaging other fellow racers. Then one day I got too "Competitive" as I prefer to call it and I severely wounded another racer. I ended up doing time in the Big house, that was until I got released for good behavior, yeah I can be VERY Manipulative. I got parole, but as part of it I was banned for life from skating in races in the State of New York, and in search for a new interest o make me cope with that, and by simply clicking on the TV, that's how I got into the show "The PACK", became a fan girl, attending ALL of their personal appearances, and all that. I don't know what it was, but something about the members themselves just attracted me to them. I came to think that how it was revealed that they were actually mercenaries and criminals themselves was the answer. I know that since then the "PACK" Fandom has pretty much been Dead, though you might find a few Stupid kids who still like it every now and then, but I still remained as loyal as a dog. I even collected any articles of the PACK's recent Crimes wherever I could find them. And eventually, I would Join the PACK and fall in love with PACK member Jackal, although we don't call it "Love", that's for Weak people, we prefer to call it a "Lustful Attraction" or just an "Attraction" for short, but enough about that. Now, everyone who know's the PACK knows me as PACK member Vulpes! And That's the main story here.........................."

Part 1:



It was sometime during the early evening in Manhattan, and in one of the rough parts of the city, more in particular at a bar in an ally that was dangerous that even a cop wouldn't walk into it unless they had a lot of backup with them. Even as a citizen you couldn't walk in the ally unless you were armed or knew how to use your fists, both being the cases for a particular person entering the ally to enter the Bar. A woman around 27 years of age, with medium length red hair, blue eyes with a violet tint to them, a small mole on her right cheek, and she was wearing a black T-shirt with the symbol of the old TV Show "The PACK" with an olive green jacket over it and dark grey cargo shorts, black combat boots, and black fingerless gloves. As the woman walked through the ally, any thug that was in it just either ignored her or quickly moved as far away as possible, for all of the local thugs in this ally learned the hard way of what she was capable of. Once in the bar, the woman took a seat at one of the stools at the counter where the bartender was serving, and the bartender was a large plump middle aged lady with short purple dyed hair and tatoos all over her arms.

"Got fired Again Vi?" asked the bartender

"Do I ever come here for any other reason Breta?!" said the woman, who's name was Viola

"You're Parole officer find out yet?"asked Breta as she got Viola's drink, already knowing what she wanted

"Of Course she did" Viola said boredly, "And of course she's coming over to lecture me about it!"

"Well, as I always Tell Ya" begun Breta, "I Would Hire ya, but right now I can't afford ta Pay ya! Tough times ya Know!"

"Yeah I know Breta! I know!" said Viola before she gulped down her drink

"So What'cha gonnah do?" asked Breta

"Well, unless I find a casual place that's hiring, or better yet a Very Rich dude to use, I don't know! But I'll deal with it! I always do!" said Viola

After an hour, Viola left the bar and re entered the ally, got out a piece of bubble gum and chewed it as she took down the nap sack she was carrying on her shoulder and was about to get some stuff out of it when she noticed an ad on the wall. Wasn't unusual though, any ad that gets put up in this ally are usually by top criminals looking for thugs to hire, Viola knew that for a fact, and she also knew that she could never work these kind of jobs while she was on parole, but one can't help but be curious. Most ads she's seen on this wall were usually for that new group the Quarrymen, but not this time, this one was new and different. It was plain and the size of a poster and the writing looked as though someone wrote it with a razor sharp knife. Viola read it over


.."We may not be the same and we may've been forgotten, but we'd like to start making a comeback, and in order to do that we Need a New recruit! Professional experience not necessary but MUST know how to fight, a "Try Out WILL be given! If interested, look in the back and you'll know who we are and where to Find us"...

Even more curious, Viola turned the flier to look at the back as said, and she saw that it was in fact a poster for her favorite old TV show "The PACK", only the faces of the members Fox and Dingo were scratched off, obviously symbolizing how they were no longer part of the group of found out criminals. And the more Viola thought of all this, she began to smirk evilly and thought this was her ticket out of her situation. With that said, she quickly got out her roller blades and her whole face helmet, removed her boots and put them in her bag and her roller blades on.

"Doesn't your parole say you're not allowed to skate in the state?!" asked a thug who was just leaning against the wall in the ally, smoking a cigarette

"Correction: It says I can't Skate in RACES!" Viola replied as she blew and popped a bubble, "Doesn't say I Can't skate to get anywhere!"

Viola then put on her helmet and she skated off, already guessing where to meet the group.


In a certain part of the city, the old "PACK" Media Studio still stood, but was abandoned as it had been for the past 3 years with a chain link fence surrounding it and all, and since the police gave up searching there a long time ago, it was the perfect temporary hide out for the previous owners, but just to be safe they chained and locked up the entrance of the gates, cut off the electricity outside of the building , and the windows were boarded too. These 3 things not only kept suspicious eyes away, but it also kept inside victims who had No idea what they had just gotten themselves into by meeting the 3 members left of the PACK themselves. Inside the studio, a young man who was clearly just beaten to a pulp was jerking and struggling for life in the cair he was chained up in and was letting out a whole bunch of screams through a strong strip of tape over his mouth. He then froze as the now haunting sound of 2 mechanical footsteps came towards him and he trembled as he looked up at the PACK member twins, Jackal and Hyena, who were ever so terrifying with their cybernetic implants and what dangerous things they contained. They were even just as horrifying as the wolf mutations as the PACK member Wolf recieved. At this point the poor young man didn't care what Quarrymen or that A.D.A lady said about those Gargoyles, The PACK here were the most terrifying and Dangerous being there is.

"Ah don't take it Personal!" said Hyena

"Indeed, you did put up an exceptional fight with our friend, but...you did Loose the "Try Out"!" said Jackal as he extended his cybernetic claws while Hyena did the same

"And We Can't Risk Havin' Ya go Ratting us out to the Cops!" said Hyena , who laughed wickedly as she and Jackal raised their claws with sadistic grins as the young man braced himself for his fate.....

Shortly after, in the part of the building where the incinerator was, after "Cleaning" off some bones his way, Wolf himself chucked in the last bit of evidence of all of the deeds that were done today in the incinerator, set on a low temperature as it had been on all day to destroy evidence without creating any smoke that could be seen coming out of the roof. Once that was done, Wolf met up with Jackal and Hyena, who had both just finished cleaning the last bit of blood off of their claws.

"Well all that was more fun than we had in a while, even if we still don't have a new recruit!" said Jackal

"And not ta mention 2 of the 5 people that came in turned out ta be autograph hounds!" scowled Hyena in annoyance

"And we still have'nt been able to finish off ANY Of the Gargoyles!" said Wolf with a growl before calming down a bit, slowly, "But..after what we just did I'm not gonnah complain!"

"Besides, it's only been 1 day of looking!" said Jackal

"Yeah, and 'til we do get a new recruit, atleast we'll get plenty of wannabies to take it all out on in the meantime!" said Hyena as she laughed

"S'cuse me!" suddenly called a woman's voice, causing the group to nearly jolt in surprise

And standing by the door that she slid open, still wearing her whole face helmet, was Viola

"Am I late for try outs?" asked Viola as she removed her helmet, blowing a bubble from her gum, and sliding the door closed behind her

"Who the devil are you?!" said Hyena

"And how in Blazes did You get in?!" demanded Wolf

Viola then answered Wolf's question by getting out the very lock The PACK used to keep the chain link fence locked up

"Yeah, and just so you know, even a 9 year old who know's how to use a pocket knife can easily pick this lock" said Viola

"Please tell me I can just take her out?!" said Hyena with a snarl as she was getting her claws ready

"Now where have your manners gone dear sister?!" said Jackal as he took Hyena's arm while studying Viola over, "Even if she appears to be a typical Fan Girl of our old show, the Lady just Got here and she said she's here for the "Try Out"! And we haven't had any women come in, and I don't see why we can't let her try!..."

"Yeah yeah! We remember that you called dibs on dealing with any girls who come in and loose!" Hyena muttered in annoyance before turning to Viola, "Alright Wannabe, if ya think you're PACK Material, You Gottah take on and Beat EACH us! If you actually do win each round, You're in!"

"But there's just one catch..." said Jackal with a sinister grin, "If you Loose even 1 round, I'm afraid we'll have to..Dispose You! After all, we can't risk anyone going to the police now can we?!"

"And if you're thinking of backing out now, Too Late for it! You pretty much sealed your fate the minute you walked in here!" said Wolf as he chuckle darkly and got out a remote that automatically locked the doors to the Building

"Eh, fair enough!" shrugged Viola, "I always do love a challenge!"

The PACK glanced at each other, surprised how non of this was bothering the woman at all, but then they thought nothing of it. They were certain that she would not be so smug once she looses.

"You gottah name Red, or What?!" said Hyena

" Viola Elps! But I prefer Viola!" said Viola

"Well, Viola..., I take it you already know who each of us are, and I hope you don't have anybody who'll miss you if you loose!" said Jackal

"Lucky for all of us I don't! Heh, even the cops wouldn't care whether I'm dead or alive! Not that I care either!" said Viola

"Yeah yeah! How about Less Chat about whatever sad story you have and More ACTION Starting! We aint got all night ya know!" said Hyena impatiently as she was flexing her claws

"Starting with ME!..." growled Wolf with a sadistic grin as he bared his fangs and was just about towering over Viola, "And just because you're a girl don't mean I'm gonnah go easy on ya Doll!"

"Fine by me!" said Viola, still calm, "though do bare in mind big guy, this is my first!"

Then Viola gave Wolf a swift karate kick in the face, and swung around to do it again with her other foot, and then she got down on her knee's and swung her leg across, tripping the subdued Wolf off his feet, making him crash down on the ground with a thud.

"Taking down a guy twice MY size that is!" said Viola before getting up and blowing another bubble


The PACK were a bit surprised by this. Very few of the other people who came in here were able to take down Wolf first thing, but the round was'nt over yet, especially when Wolf sat up and glared ever so angrily while letting out a low growl as he suddenly swiped his arm under Viola's feet, knocking her down.

"Now You Made Me MAD!..." growled Wolf as he got up

Wolf then charged at Viola while letting out a monstrous roar, but Viola was ready for it. From the ground she flipped into a handstand, kicking Wolf in the face for the 3rd time before landing in a crouching position.

"Would Ya STOP Doing THAT?!" yelled Wolf as he charged quickly this time

And before Viola could do Anything, Wolf managed to grab her and wrapped his arm's tightly around her, pinning her arms to her sides

"HAH! Gotcha!" claimed Wolf with a nasty grin as he got ready to crush Viola, "She'll be all yours to deal with in a minute Jackal, Just gottah get her down for a well earned Nap!"

But before Wolf could start crushing her, Viola drew up one of her legs and she back kicked Wolf hard in the groin with the heel of her boot, not only causing Wolf's eyes to bulge and to cry out in pain as he let her go, but also to make him slowly fall on his knee's and on the ground all at once.

"Never said anything about NO hitting below the belt!" commented Viola!

"I must admit that I didn't see That coming!..." said Jackal

"Hah, just means that it's Now MY Turn!" said Hyena, still not thing anything of it

Hyena and Viola then began to circle each other, getting ready to fight

"Oh you really think you're so Tough ta be In Red?! Heh, as far as we know, You could just be a Spoiled little Rich Brat who's only having a Bad Girl act just ta Get Back at Daddy for Not getting ya the Pony You wanted!" said Hyena as she got out her claws and tried to swipe at Viola

But Viola Managed to actually catch Hyena's mechanical wrist

"Ok.." begun Viola with a bit of a laugh, "First Off, If I were Rich, I would NOT be here!"

Viola then threw a hard punch to Hyena in the mid drift, knocking hyena back down on the ground.

"I'd be in my Mansion, torturing people in my Dungeon!..." said Viola with a dazed smile, clearly getting pleasure from the thought

Jackal was again surprised. Was the woman serious or was that some kind of new joke that was going around these days? either way she was going to be an interesting subject to kill when she looses. Viola was so deep in her though that she did'nt notice Hyena flip up and kick Viola down at once. Then Hyena roughly grabbed Viola up by the collar, and with a nasty grin she threw Viola to make her crash into a nearby iron support beam. But Viola managed to get her hands on the support beam in a way that allowed her to swing around it, and as she did, she ended up kicking Hyena in the face, officially knocking her down.

"And second, I NEVER Wanted a Pony! I wanted a Car or a Motorbike! After all, Ponies DIE! Heh, every time I hear a little kid say they wannah pony, I actually Tell them that" said Viola with a bit of a Cruel chuckle at the last part

Jackal just smirked evilly as it was now his turn to deal with the woman. Jackal and Viola then began to circle each other.

"Well it seems that I'm all that's left for you to deal with! Though it is going to be a shame to Kill you if you Loose! Not only are the Only one who actually got this far, but also I Like a woman who's Fiesty!" said Jackal

"Uh Huh!" begun Viola, "And it's a shame I gottah do This to ya Handsome!"

Viola then tried to through a punch, but Jackal caught her wrist with a nasty grin, but Viola expected just that, and wither her free arm she elbowed Jackal hard in the face, making him let go of her wrist and stumble back with a grunt while clutching his face. Once the pain subdued, Jackal looked back at Viola, still with a nasty grin.

"Where have you been All My Life?!" chuckled Jackal


And the 2 continued to keep fighting each other, throwing punches and kicks, though for Jackals case he did get out his claws and did try to swipe at Viola a few times, but she kept dodging, and her actions mostly involved kicking.

"By the way, just curious.." begun Jackal as they continued to fight, "Why do you want to Join the PACK? I'm guessing it's Not just because you're a Fan Girl!"

"You're right! I do have a big reason for wanting to join, and being one of your very few Fans left is not it! And it's also the reason why cops wouldn't care whether I'm dead or Alive! We Don't exactly see Eye to Eye!" said Viola as she caught Jackal's wrist and gave him a kick in the side

"Fugitive yourself are we?" asked Jackal

"Convict! Out on Parole! Only the Parole part Sucks! And I Want OUT, for Good! And you guys might be my answer to that!" said Viola as she tried to Karate Kick Jackal in the face

Jackal however caught Viola's ankle, but then Viola leaped into the air and kicked him in the face with her free foot, knocking him down as she landed on her feet. And just as Jackal was about to get up again, Viola swung around and kicked him in the face again, officially knocking him down. Viola just blew and popped another bubble as she regained her composure.
